Homemade Dusting Spray

Furniture Polish can become rather expensive.  Especially when you are an avid cleaner.  The respiratory issues associated with commercial cleaners can affect your health if you are sensitive.

I have found a great furniture polish that gives impressive results.  There is no oily residue left on the furniture.  If you prefer a light, natural scent, essential oils of your choice can be added.

 

Here's what you will need:

 

• Glass spray bottle (dark colored glass or keep mixture in cupboard)
• 2 tbsp. Olive Oil
• 1/4 cup White Vinegar
• 15 drops of essential oil of your choice
• 1 cup of water
• Funnel
• 2 lint free wiping cloths

 

Mix Olive Oil, Vinegar, Essential Oil and Water into spray bottle using the funnel.

 

  Dampen 1 cloth with water and wring out very well.  Wipe over furniture to be polished for a damp wipe.  This removes any particles that may scratch while polishing.  After dry time, a couple of minutes, continue to polish as normal.
