Cleaning Tip

Lets get our homes ready for the holidays with this cleaning tip!

 

To clean your baseboards and trim work in your home, you will need the following:

 

Bucket

Lint free wiping cloths

1 cup white vinegar

1 tsp dish detergent

Hot water

 

Fill your bucket with hot water.

Add 1 cup of white vinegar.

Add 1/2 tsp. dish detergent

 

This combo will cut grease and grime without damaging any painted surfaces.

 

Submerge a lint free cloth into the solution and wring out any excess liquid.

 

Wipe all baseboards and trim work  Let dry.  A mop may be used for harder to reach areas.

 

Maintenance Follow Up:

 

To maintain all your hard work in cleaning, a little maintenance is required.  

 

Add 4 cups of hot water to a clean bucket.

 

Add 1 Tbsp. of Laundry Fabric Softener to the hot water.

 

Submerge a lint free cloth in the solution and wring out all excess moisture.

 

Wipe down all base boards, door frames & trim work.

 

This solution will leave a fresh clean scent while repelling dust with the anti-static properties.

 

This cleaning tip is so easy on the pocket!  No more expensive cleaners!
